This European Yew log was not the best quality bowmaking material but I managed to make an use of it. It had many checks going through sapwood and sometimes even heartwood. It was seasoned for 3 years when I got it. It was my first attempt at "serious" yew bow.
And I have fallen in love with this wood and the bow!
