"Hi, my name is Leila Raminfar. I'm a family medicine physician here, at the Everett Clinic.

My passion for going into medicine comes from a place of really caring about patient care. I really enjoy making connections with people. It's an honor to be a part of their healthcare.

My background in healthcare started out here, at University of Washington. After that, I actually decided to pursue a masters in public health, so I moved to Washington, DC. And then, when it came time to come back for residency, I circled back to Washington State, and it's really nice to be back in the area.

As a family physician, I see people of all ages. I love working with women and children. I also really like working with the elderly population.

My goal as a doctor is to be able to help people help themselves, preventative measures, trying to figure out how we can prevent disease from happening. I like to stay up to date. I like to read, and I like to come up with new ways to help my patients, and, when it's the right time, for them to be referred to the right person.

My hope is for my patients to understand why we recommend what we recommend, and I would really like to teach my patients about how they can take care of themselves, even if they're really behind on their healthcare status, and we can fix things and we can prevent things now. It's never too late to come to see your doctor."
