I decided to try my hand at making some more delicious Sri Lankan food and this time opted to try make Parippu Wade (also called Parippu Vada) as they are called in Sri Lanka. These deep fried lentil fritters are very easy to make and the perfect afternoon snack with a cup of tea.

They are very popular in Southern India such as in Kerala and also all over Sri Lanka where sometimes you will find men selling them on the trains.
