This large park is a converted golf course with sprawling grounds made up of small hills and many trees. This is the biggest dog park I've reviewed so far. But do you want to know why I call this the most fractured dog park in FW? Watch to find out.

Fun fact:
Extreme heat can cause large cracks in the ground through a process called thermal expansion.

When the ground is exposed to intense heat, the minerals and rocks that compose it expand. This expansion is due to the increased kinetic energy of the atoms and molecules within the material. As the ground heats up, the outer layers expand more rapidly than the deeper layers, creating stress and tension.

If this stress becomes too great, the ground can FRACTURE or crack. These cracks can vary in size from small fissures to large, gaping holes. The severity of the cracking depends on factors such as the type of soil, the intensity and duration of the heat, and the presence of any underlying geological structures.
