This slide show is from photographs made by Don Sisson, editor for the company newspaper The TC Topics. Photos date from the early part of the 20th century and depict workers in the copper mines at Copperhill, Tennessee for the company then known as the Tennessee Copper Company. The company went out of business in 2008, but was the livelihood of of most of the residents of the Copper Basin area for over 100 years.
