Описание к видео Dadi Chandramani | Tribute | Brahma Kumaris

In remembrance of our ancestor Respected Dadi Chandramani who flew away on 11th March 1997.

Dadi Chandramani was one of the founding members of Brahma Kumaris Ishwariy Vishwa Vidyalaya. Her childhood name was Mothil. She first came into contact with Brahma Baba in Sindh, Hyderabad, at the age of 15. After a recommendation from a sister who visited her during a time of sorrow, Dadi Chandramani met Baba in his uncle's house and fell into a trance and experienced detachment from her body, that led her to accept him as her mother, father, and everything. Five generations from her family have since been in gyan.

Dadi Chandramani felt a strong connection with Brahma Baba, even before they knew that Shiv Baba had descended into his body. Baba’s home, known as 'Jasoda Nivas,' was converted into 'Om Mandali.' After six months, Baba opened a school for children and she was selected as English Teacher. Observing her calmness and simplicity, BapDada gave her the spiritual name ‘Chandramani.

She frequently visited Bangalore for special congregations and public service programmes, as her lokik sister Dadi Hridyapushpa was instrumental in starting Godly services in Southern India. After Dadi Hridyapushpa's passing in 1995, Dadi Chandramani took on the additional responsibility of administering the affairs of the Karnataka Zone.

Later, she became the zone-in-charge for Integrated Punjab, consisting of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. Known as the "Lioness of Punjab," Dadi Chandramani fearlessly tackled challenging situations in Godly service and had unwavering faith in BapDada's mission to establish deity sovereignty. Despite her prominent position, she led a simple life, devoid of interest in fame or publicity, and warmly welcomed anyone who wished to meet her. Dadi Chandramani was an avid student of Godly knowledge and Raj Yoga and her lectures left an unparalleled impact on listeners.

In 1983, she was appointed as the Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. In 1995, she became the in charge of the Value Education Academy when Gyan Sarovar was established. She also held the directorship of the Indore and Karnataka zones, and served as the Chairman of the Social Service Wing of the Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation. Additionally, she was a founding member of the Brahma Kumaris Educational Society.

Dadi Chandramani ascended to BapDada’s lap on11th March 1997.
