We have now learned that President Donald Trump and his administration plan to roll back fuel-economy standards for certain vehicles. Many of these standards were reportedly put in place under the Biden administration. “These policies forced automakers to build cars using expensive technologies that drove up costs, drove up prices, and made the car much worse,” Trump said inside the Oval Office on Wednesday. “The action is expected to save the typical consumer at least $1,000 off the price of a new car, and we think substantially more than that.”

According to reports, Minnesota is home to 80,000 Somalis, making it the largest population of Somalis in the country. A physician, Salvador Plasencia, who pleaded guilty to illegally distributing ketamine linked to Matthew Perry's death, was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison and immediately remanded to custody. Plasencia is one of five defendants who pleaded guilty in the case, admitting he provided the drug to the actor in the weeks leading up to his October 2023 overdose.
