From an early age my Dad did his best to instil in me a love for trains. By the time I was 4 I could rhyme off every design and model of steam engine on demand.

Best of all was an old vinyl record of my Granddad’s that was just an entire album full of the sounds of steam engines chugging away from the station.

Well these days I couldn’t tell you a single type of train model and the old vinyl is long gone but my love for that soothing clackety-clack is still going strong.
