Future Classics BMW E46 & E36 M3 Review with Owner- They Don't Make Em Like They Used To

We take it old school in this week's review to two generations of M3 many consider to be the best for Bavarian Motorworks. A rare Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3, and one well-modified E36 for your viewing pleasure. We sure appreciate Dan taking the time to share his two cars and provide much insight into the "big 3" maintenance items, their current values, and some other appreciated thoughts.

You know, I've reviewed so many cars at this point and I always find myself enjoying a BMW car. BMW's tagline was always "the ultimate driving machine" and in my experience, they often times live up to that. Their cars just have a feeling to them of precision, with a true driver's car steering weighting and athletic prowess on the road. While the new ones have gone many steps towards the future, we sure enjoyed experiencing these older-generation M3s today. As they say, if it ain't broken don't it.

I don't know what it is, maybe the physical buttons instead of TFT screens, the hydraulic steering vs electrical. Or maybe it's the elegant and classy lines of the E36 and E46 that we like so much over the current generations of BMW. Or maybe it's the nostalgia of playing the E46 and E36 M3s in Need for Speed Most Wanted and other older racing games. Whatever it may be, we shared our thoughts with you guys in this review.

We did our best through the heat which was absolutely ridiculous today to bring you this review. At one point I thought we were going to need to call an ambulance for Bryan. But, we love making these reviews and Dan was an excellent sport to sweat it out with us! We hope you enjoy our BMW E46 and BMW E36 content. We sure enjoy making these.
