Dal Panchratan Recipe:-


Dal panchratn (chana, moong, masoor, arahar dal, urad dal.)      400gm

                                   Red chili pdr                                             3gm

                                    Red chili whole                                        2

                                    Green chili                                               2 no 

                                    Cumin seed                                              1 tspn

                                    Oil                                                            50ml

                                    Coriander pdr                                           3 gm

                                    Turmeric pdr                                             5 gm

                                     Tomatoes                                                  2 no

                                    Ginger garlic paste                                     2 tblspn

                                     Coriander leaf chop                                   2 tblspn

                                      Salt                                                            to taste

Methods:-

Pick and wash panchratan dal .add 1.25 litr water with panchratan dal in a pot .

Add a pinch of turmeric powder ,salt finely chopped ginger,and green chili bring to boil.

While its cook, water left equal quantity of dal remove from fire and keep it a side .

Heat 50ml ghee or oil in a pan add cumin seed , when it bring crackle add red chili whole deseeded . then add remaining chopped garlic , green chili and ginger sauté for few seconds.

Add chopped tomato and little salt .

On simmet fire, add it to the cooked panchratan dal and mix well .

Adjust the seasoning and consistency ,garnish with coriander leaves .
