I love the simple flavors and striking look of a classic tiramisu. It’s not an overly complicated dessert, but it is so dang delicious! This tiramisu layer cake takes all of the flavors, textures, and design of that classic Italian dessert, but transforms it into a majestic, towering cake.

The final dessert consists of coffee syrup brushed vanilla cake layers filled with mascarpone pastry cream dusted with dark cocoa powder. The cake is covered in an ombre buttercream ranging from dark chocolate up to vanilla. On top, there are dollops of mascarpone pastry cream dusted with dark cocoa powder.
