Have always passed on the F1 turbo (or more correctly, turbo lag) era on rFactor 2, particularly the beasts of 1986. Had a hard time driving the Benetton on the original rFactor years ago, so I did not really want to re-experience the frustrating throttle control and the difficult downshifting (I have auto-clutch but no auto-lift/no auto-blip so rev matching is not ideal).

But decided to give it a shot today, after almost two months away from sim racing. After a few practice races competitively racing AIs at high 1:15s and low 1:16s, I decided to record. Here it is. I am very happy that I could now enjoy this cars at least. So I hope you enjoy my tense (for me) onboard view!

Default setup. No assists. Green track. AIs at 101%. This is the v0.97 version of F1 1986 LE.
