Wild camping in the Peak District in my favourite place with a dog

A few weeks ago I went wild camping in the Peak District with my good friend Emily and her dog Summer. This is probably my favorite go-to place to camp.

I planned for the most sheltered spot on top, taking into consideration wind direction through the night. For most of the hike, we were battling 50mph gusts and winds of constant 30mph. Which, when you're carrying a hefty rucksack makes it pretty hard to walk in a straight line.

Utter madness if you ask me. Once up on top, we managed to find a totally secluded and windless spot where we could safely camp for the night. The sunset was spectacular.
