VS Achuthanandan demands probe on Thomas Chandy, PV Anvar | Mathrubhumi News

T'puram: Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) Chairman VS Achuthanandan said Sunday that the encroachment allegations against transport minister Thomas Chandy and MLA PV Anwar should be probed. In a letter handed over to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, VS said that the government should see to it that the allegations against the two do not tarnish the government's image. Both PV Anvar and Thomas Chandy are under the cloud of suspicion, the government should inform the truth to the public, VS says in the letter. Pinarayi Vijayan had justified the violations of law conducted by Thomas Chandy and PV Anvar. Pinarayi had said that the allegations of encroachment levelled against Thomas Chandy was politically motivated.
