Plants vs Zombies 2 - Starting Strategy, Tips and Tricks (PvZ2 Gameplay PROTIP) | WikiGameGuides

Getting a good start in Plants vs Zombies 2 is essential to successfully completing a level. Do not use Twin Sunflowers at the start, use Potato Mines early and often to kill strong zombies, and get your sunflowers producing lots and lots of sun so you can plant lots of expensive offensive plants.

You only need 3 squares of space for a Potato Mine to plant, and you only need 2 squares of space for a Peashooter to kill a standard zombie.
