Cobra Kai star Courtney Henggeler, best known as Amanda LaRusso in Cobra Kai Series has confirmed she’s retired from acting! She humbly announced this in a post on Substack on March 30th 2025. Her career included numerous guest appearances in television series such as House, NCIS, Criminal Minds, The Big Bang Theory (as Sheldon's twin sister Missy), Mom, and Jane the Virgin. She also had roles in films like Friends with Benefits and Nobody's Fool. Her breakthrough role came as Amanda LaRusso in the Netflix hit series Cobra Kai, where she starred in all six seasons as Daniel LaRusso's wife. Despite this success, Henggeler expressed feeling unfulfilled by the constant "hustle and grind" of the acting profession.

“After 20 plus years of fighting the good fight in the acting business, I hung up my gloves on Friday. I called my agents and told them I was tapping out. I no longer wanted to be a cog in the wheel of the machine.“
