Hi guys,

Today for the first time I'm trying the new reformulated #FauxFilter Luminous Matte Foundation by Huda Beauty. I'm still trying to figure out my thoughts on it haha, I need to wear it a few more times. But I thinkkkk this foundation has a time and place - great for events where you want a good medium/full coverage, matte look. It stayed roughly matte up until roughly 9-10 hours for me, past 12 hours it got oily looking all over - so i'm a little worried for more oilier skin types where you would have to keep an eye on shine peaking through. BUT with that said - blotting it down with translucent powder fitted up the shine instantly and the makeup was still looking comfortable on the skin and well intact. For myself personally - I wouldn't wear it everyday, more for special events. Let me know if you have any questions x

Overall thoughts -
Pros -
- Great colour undertone (for myself as a gold)
- Great at not transferring
- Soft looking on the skin
- Holds well to the skin
- Good instant coverage
- Build-able with tools
- Pores didn't seemed amplified
- Doesn't dry down darker once applied
- Still can't tell if there is flash back or not haha - SORRY, it played me!

Cons -
- Didn't love the texture when first applied, looked quite drying on the surface
(liked it more over time)
- Dries quickly
- Became quite shiny after 9 hours, looked oily by 12 hours
- Creased a bit in my smile lines
