- Hey Buds, today I am throwing up a video of a different breed. I was in the market for an ecig and wanted a simple albeit excellent quality mod. The Ego Twist is one of the best mods available for newbie vapors, as it has a variable voltage (3.2-4.8 volts). The Ego brand is a very mainstream almost trendy brand of ecig, loved for its ease of use, and quality vapor production. Because of the Ego's popularity (and loose patents), generic Chinese knockoffs are everywhere, and its hard to know what you are actually buying unless you know what to look for. I show you 2 simple ways to distinguish a generic vs a genuine Ego-C Twist.

*UPDATE*8/9/13 - The generic Chinese Ego no longer works properly (it shorts mid drag and overheats) and had to be replaced, while the silver genuine Ego is still going strong. Another reason to go genuine. Joyetech is the only company that makes eGo C Twist, however, there are other companies who make an assortment of ego style batteries - Vision Spinner (up to 1300mAh) and Smok Winder (up to 1100mAh) are two.

UPDATE 11/18/13 - I don't understand where all the thumbs down's are coming from? The information is exactly what's in the title and I am trying to help. Let me know why, so I may improve! Anyway, I have recently switched to the iTaste MVP V2 and I am absolutely, disgustingly, satisfied. It uses a 510 connector (like Ego), has an internal battery (like Ego), comes with a charger (unlike Ego), can be used to charge other products via USB! and it runs about 65-70$. I will never look back to the Ego, and I feel it's just as easy to use. I get about 650 puffs to the charge! http://www.innokin.com/itaste-mvp.html
