1999 Mercedes SL320 owner’s review

Owner’s review of a silver over black leather Mercedes Benz SL320 (also known as R129). These are the last of the over-engineered Mercedes, so the build quality really impresses and we're proud to own the car. We purchased the vehicle in December 2018, so we’ve had a few years’ of ownership prior to making this review video. The car features the fantastic glass ‘panorama’ roof (removable with a soft-top beneath) so it’s great for both winter and summer cruising. We opted for the six-cylinder 320 as it’s a tried and tested powerplant and we have other cars that will out-perform the SL even with a larger engine spec. The SL320 is a superb grand tourer, which we’ve really enjoyed over the years and continue to drive regularly. Hope you enjoy the video.
