1987 80cc Motocross Shootout

Описание к видео 1987 80cc Motocross Shootout

This is my look back at how the major motocross magazines rated the 80cc motocross class of 1987. At the time, motocross minis were receiving very regular updates and nearly all the machines were new or only one season away from a major redesign. By 1987, all of the minis featured disc brakes, liquid cooling and bodywork that mimicked their larger brothers.

This season, the bike to beat was the Honda CR80R but all the machines were very competitive with the right rider at the controls. The Suzuki RM80, Kawasaki KX80, and Yamaha YZ80 all had what it took to win in the right hands and were capable of winning.
