INSTALLING YAMAHA OUTBOARD CONTROLS AND CABLES - Pontoon Boat How-To

Today we are routing our shift & throttle cables along with the ignition harness for this early/mid 1990s Yamaha outboard. We will show you how to uninstall those cables and harness from the outboard, then route them through the deck and back to the motor to be reinstalled. We also mount this side-mount control box to the railing. Lots of information to help you tackle this part of the project on your own whether you're working on a pontoon boat, fishing boat, or any other watercraft using a Yamaha Outboard!
