Canada falls to U.S. at world juniors, will face Czechia in quarterfinals

An undisciplined Canada took 11 penalties and gave up three power-play goals in a 4-1 loss to the United States on New Year’s Eve at the world junior hockey championship. The tournament hosts will now face Czechia in the quarterfinals. (Jan. 1, 2025)
