In this video, I will teach you five simple blues concepts to make your solos sound more professional.

1. Don't stay in the box. Changing scale positions allow us to add expressiveness to our solos by adding slides, vibrato, etc.

2. Adding some imperfection in your solos. One trick to achieve this is using micro-bends.

3. Approaching bending notes from far below. Get comfortable with the actual bend and then approach it from below to get this dramatic effect.

4. Master the other two notes. We've been working over the minor pentatonic, use your ears to complete the mode with the appropriate second and six note degrees.

5. Only the last note counts. You can play outside notes as long as your last note hits home.
