POP Rivet Salmon Fly: Red Francis - Salmon Fly Tying

A pop rivet converted to a very popular salmon fly, the red Francis or Frances. This deadly salmon tube fly will fish right away after landing in the water, using the weight of the rivet and cone. The rivet has been tied backwards to help give the carrot like shape of a prawn or shrimp body.

Give it a go... a set of pop rivets will cost you a few pence per fly where a weighted tube, especially with a flange, will cost you significantly more money.
