Robo-Met.3D in operation

Robo-Met.3D is an automated serial sectioning system for 3 dimensional reconstructions of metals, ceramics, composites and other materials that can be processed via metallography.

System can be configured to perform 2D metallography and step-polishing.
Automated polishing, cleaning, etching and image capture on Zeiss inverted microscope.
8 platens are available to allow flexibility in recipe development. From coarse papers all the way to final polishing pads. The system keeps them separate to eliminate cross-contamination ensuring a proper polish for investigation of your feature of interest.
System is equipped with 6 solution containers allowing for precise dosing of diamond slurry to the polishing wheel. This reduces cost and ensures exact process control.

Robo-Met.3D will reduce costs and increase the throughput in your lab while providing new insights into your materials.
