BUSTED: Westinghouse Hydraulic Glass Elevators @ Hyatt Regency in Green Bay, WI

These are the elevators in an Embassy Suites converted Hyatt Regency. These are some really cool 8-story glass Westy HIGHdraulics. And I'm glad I got to hear the dinner bells for the first time ever! Interesting that the 2 banks have different fixtures. One bank has a slap-on mod by Schindler from what I heard and the other bank is still original. These were really cool and honestly worth to ride, despite the fact that yes, unfortunately I got busted by security for riding these which I'll explain what happened. These elevators were very busy so that's why this video was quite long and it could've been the reason how I got busted. And probably an event that took place here could've also been another reason, which there was on the day I filmed this video.

So here's what happened after I stopped the camera: I went up on the only original working Westy to a random floor where I can make another clip of the dinner bell so I can sample it better. Then I waited on the 3rd floor for the elevator to come back so I can get my video ready to sample the chime. But unfortunately I failed to get it because while I was waiting, a security guard from the other bank across from the original bank on 2 was there and I just stood there like normal waiting for an elevator, then security started staring at me for like a minute or 2 and then this is where the confrontation began. Security then starts confronting me and this is what he told me:

Security: EXCUSE ME? Are you a guest here?

Me: *becomes honest about it*: "No"

Security: "Ok, then why are u on our floor"?

Me: I told him what I like to do "I'm just appreciating the elevators"

Security then tells me to stay where I am so he can summon another guard to confront me. But what they didn't realize that my mom was waiting for me at the lobby, thank goodness my mom was just down there and when she noticed me getting confronted, she immediately then tells me that we got to go. Then security notices my mom and decided to not confront me even further anymore and at the end just walked away, otherwise, the situation would've been worse. So I returned back to lobby and we simply left the property afterwards to avoid the situation to get any worse and I know there was an MT here but I skipped filming it due to my focus on getting the heck out of property since I know I was not welcomed on the property anymore.

Sadly, this story very much gives an example of why some Hyatt Regency hotels aren't a friendly environment to elevator enthusiasts anymore. Apparently, I am NOT the only one that has gotten busted at a Hyatt Regency, some locations are quite tricky to film nowadays. So to anyone that plans on coming here, please be careful when filming here, and also when filming other hotels in general, and don't film a little longer than usual here, otherwise, security will confront you, unless if you're a guest. If you're too nervous about filming here after what happened to me, then I would recommend not filming here at all.
