Everything I made in July 2023 ✂️ Summer Sewing Ideas, Patterns & Fabrics

Here is everything I made over the last few months- mostly for my vacation capsule wardrobe for our Girl’s Trip to NYC, Palm Springs and LA. I'm going with a 60-70's vintage vibe for Palm Springs to go with where we're staying- at the Trixie Motel! I'm staying in the Malibu Barbara room- so cute! And of course- we're going to see the Barbie movie in NYC! So, lots of pink!

I sew so much in the summer! Because it’s so hot here in Florida we stay indoors during the hottest part of the year. I’m outdoors the most in winter enjoying our best season. So, I’ve been sewing up a storm! I probably made more over the last two months than I will the rest of the year! Plus, I’m rebuilding my handmade wardrobe to suit my new style.

I bought this fabric last year:
"Beautiful basic stretch woven that is ideal for both tops and bottoms. Mid-weight, (slimming, not thick or heavy), with lengthwise stretch, so cut on the cross grain so the stretch goes around the body - cutting on the cross grain takes less fabric. All ACE stretch wovens are the same base fabric in different color ways."
