As a loan officer, one of the most important parts of the job is making sure that a loan closes on time. For that to happen, you have to have the right team. So many mortgage companies centralize their processing, underwriting, and all the other functions involved in closing a loan.

We sell directly to the agencies. We decide whether or not that loan's going to go. And for all the borderline cases, we sit down and look at that loan here and make a decision as a team.
