What is Cloud (quick summary)?

With changing times companies need to upgrade their hardware

and software as per the business requirements. However with on

premises IT services the scaling process can be slow (as the up

gradation of equipment and manpower takes time) and hence

organizations are not able to fully utilize their IT infrastructure.

Cloud computing is a paradigm shift that provides computing

over the internet.

A cloud computing service consists of highly optimized data

centers (third party data centers from the end-user point of view),

that provide various hardware, software, and information

resources (when needed). [Benefit is the option with the end-user

to do away with its IT infrastructure or use the upgrades from the

cloud providers]

Client organizations can simply connect to a cloud and use the

services on a pay per use basis.

This means client organization's do not have to spend

money on additional on-premises infrastructure and

human resources and can scale up or scale down

depending upon the business requirements.

User end Deployment models (explained in the video):

Cloud computing can be deployed in three different models:

1. Private cloud

2. Public cloud

3. And Hybrid cloud.
