WHY?? We hear you asking why we have jumped into the MY24 Silverado HD 2500 when we were extremely happy with our previous 2022 model. Jodie, the marketing manager for ‪@gmspecialtyvehicles‬ joins us as we collect our brand new slate grey Chevy from ‪@LlewellynmotorsAu‬ in Ipswich, QLD to help explain the brand new features and upgrades.

The MY24 has had a significant facelift bringing it in line with the latest Silverado 1500 range. This heavy duty (HD) full size pick-up truck which is the largest vehicle you can drive on a car license, offers upgraded technology, a more luxurious and refined interior, upgraded levels of power and torque with improved levels of safety across the board, including in the trailering app.

2024 enhancements include cleaner front-end styling with the return of the bow-tie in the grill and a retune of the mammoth Duramax 6.6-litre turbo-diesel V8 engine, which now offers 350kW of power and a whopping 1322Nm of torque. They've also added tiny bow-ties to the indicators. It's the attention to detail that we love!

Available from $163,000 before on-roads, this truck can tow up 4500kg with a car licence and offers heaps of luxurious features and tech to boost its already impressive towing capabilities.

The question really should be, why WOULDN'T you upgrade to the MY24?
