We've had a lot of rain this summer and every time it rains the Conowingo Dam opens it's drains to let water out. When this happens it drains 1,000s of pounds of trash to the Chesapeake Bay. This trash isn't just destructive to the environment, but also to the boats that use the Chesapeake Bay. I have spent $1,000s on repairs to my boat from trash that I have sucked up or hit. If you ever see trash while boating, please pull it out of the water.
