Delhi News: Who Is Amir Rashid Ali? NIA Arrests Crucial Kashmir Suspect In Red Fort Blast Probe

Red Fort blast investigation has intensified after the NIA arrested Amir Rashid Ali, a Kashmiri resident linked to suicide bomber Dr Umar Un Nabi. Officials say Amir played a critical role in helping organise the deadly attack near the Red Fort Metro Station. Investigators believe he travelled to Delhi to assist in purchasing the Hyundai i20 car later used as the explosive-laden vehicle.

The blast killed fourteen people and injured several others, triggering nationwide alarm. The NIA says Amir’s connection with the suicide bomber makes him a key figure in the conspiracy. Sources reveal that the vehicle was bought through a second-hand dealer using documents from Jammu and Kashmir.

Officers have recovered multiple items for forensic analysis to trace the full network. The agency has questioned dozens of witnesses as part of its expanding investigation.

Security agencies across Delhi have intensified checks following the latest arrest. The NIA is now working with multiple state police units to uncover every link behind the Red Fort bombing.
