The 55th Biel International Chess Festival takes place July 11-22, 2022 in Biel, Switzerland. Chess.com is broadcasting the following events:

Chess960: 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment
Classical: 100 minutes for the first 40 moves + 50 minutes for the next 20 moves + 15 minutes for the rest of the game + 30 seconds increment per move.
Rapid: 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment
Blitz: 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment
Master Tournament: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves + 30 minutes for the rest of the game with 30 seconds increment starting from move one.

In the main event, the Chess960 tournament determines the drawing of lots. After that, the classical, rapid, and blitz events all count for a combined score in what is called the Grandmaster Triathlon. The Master Tournament is a separate, nine-round Swiss.
