4 Rugged Off-Road Capable Class C/ B Plus RV's For the Trail

We compare 4 small Class C, B Plus RVs that are made to go off the beaten path. With their 4x4 capabilities, higher ground clearance, beefy suspensions and aggressive tires, they can take you to many places unreachable by standard RV models. And all of them have more space than a standard Class B Van like the Revel or Storyteller Overland.

In this video, we visit La Mesa RV in Port St. Lucie, Florida looking for the ultimate in off-road capable RV's with more space than those rugged Class B Vans. We look at models from Jayco, Winnebago and Entegra. Some of the units we see could be classified as B Plus RVs, but as we have been told many times, "A Class C sits on a cutaway chassis, and there is no such thing as a B+. We will let you decide.

These versatile recreational vehicles have surprisingly comfortable floor plans, and offer considerably larger living spaces than a Class B Van with a very similar exterior footprint. However, they still have the feel of a Class B Van so you can still live the "Van Life." As always, we make some comparisons to our Van, a 2021 American Coach Patriot MD2, and give some constructive criticism as well.
