Mid East Ethnic Instruments Manufacturers Evocation of the Biblical Kinnor

Описание к видео Mid East Ethnic Instruments Manufacturers Evocation of the Biblical Kinnor

This video showcases the incredibly affordable evocation of the Kinnor by Mid East Ethnic Instruments Manufacturers - the 10 string lyre once played by the Levites in the Temple of Jerusalem over 2000 years ago, to accompany the singing of the Levitical Ensemble.

The most affordable of all the evocations of the Biblical lyres, all of the minor problems inherent with cheaper factory made musical instruments can be quite easily overcome, as I attempt to demonstrate in this video.

Indeed, although not a good purely acoustic instrument, due to the thicker build stiffling the tone somewhat, when recorded and mixed, this lyre can sound absolutely majestic, as can be heard in my album, "Lyre of the Levites: Klezmer Music For Biblical Lyre" & "King David's Lyre; Echoes of Ancient Israel".

Many thanks for watching!
