The Great Arab Revolt is a three-part documentary broadcasted by Jordan Television from September 16th-18th 2016 covering major historical milestones in the Arab world between 1908 and 1921.

The trilogy, co-written and co-directed by Aseel Mansour & Roland May and produced by Al Sunbula Production (Spica Media), combines re-enactments and archive footage.

The film highlights the repercussions of rapid changes in the last years of the Ottoman Empire, namely the rise of Turkish ultra-nationalist movements and the Committee of Union and Progress' monopoly of government, arriving at the launch of the Great Arab Revolt, which constituted a military and intellectual revolution that took place mainly in Hijaz and Greater Syria to demand independence and freedom for Arabs and protect their identity.

Delivering over 52 shots in a period of 2.5 months included extensive FX, 3D, Concept Art, Matte Painting, Roto, Compositing, Paint and heavy-duty CG. Highlights of the VFX breakdown include complete creation of a CG tank and replicating a train and its billowing smoke with a CG one.
