Maihaugen in Lillehammer is an open-air museum that showcases Norwegian history and culture through buildings, artifacts, and exhibitions. The museum features more than 200 historic houses from different time periods (from the Middle Ages to modern times) offering a vivid insight into how people in Norway have lived through the centuries. It was founded by Anders Sandvig in the late 19th century and is today one of Norways most famous museums.

Vi besøker Maihaugen! Maihaugen i Lillehammer er et friluftsmuseum som viser norsk historie og kultur gjennom bygninger, gjenstander og utstillinger. Museet har over 200 historiske hus fra ulike tidsepoker (fra middelalderen til moderne tid) og gir et levende innblikk i hvordan folk i Norge har levd gjennom tidene. Det ble grunnlagt av Anders Sandvig på slutten av 1800-tallet og er i dag en av Norges mest kjente museer.
