Attention SENIORS Safe grad needs you to use this QR code to fill out their form. Make sure to do so! For those unfamiliar with safe grad it's an all night drug and alcohol free celebration held on graduation night . The night includes activities, games, and food.
There will be an informational meeting for all boys interested in playing baseball for the Eagles this spring. The meeting will be at 2:20 in room 51 on Wednesday November 12th. Please email or see Coach Bags with any questions.
The Asian Cultural Club has a delicious announcement. Join them after school on November 12th in the Culinary Room for a fun workshop where you will learn how to fold and make dumplings! No experience required, and all ingredients are provided. Bring a friend and don’t miss out on this FREE hands-on experience.
We would like to recognize five capstone presentations from the Class of 2026 for their excellence, and for providing WHS with excellent examples to share. Congratulations on your amazing work!
Each year, the science department recognizes the top 10% for their performance on NGSS with the NGSS scholar award which also includes a green tassel cord and atomic symbol pin to wear at graduation. The purpose of this is to recognize students for their academic achievement in science! We would like to take a moment and recognize the following students This assessment is taken in Junior year of high school and measures a student’s understanding of complex science concepts. Congratulations!
The students in Room 216 are housing all of the Lost and Found items. They have been hung up and organized. All Students can come to 216 at any time of the day to claim their items.
The WHS Drama club presents "She Kills Monsters", a drama/comedy that combines Dungeons & Dragons with the real world. Show dates are November 14 and 15, 7:30 pm, and November 16 at 3:00 pm. Tickets on sale online beginning November 1 at www.CUR8.com, and at the door. $14 adults, $12 students and seniors. Come watch and support our students!
The Interact club is having a Fundraiser at Puerta Vallarta on Monday, November 17th. Dine in or take out! Make sure to partake in this fundraiser and support our Eagles!
Brothers Sisters United (BSU) will have its first meeting in the LMC after school on Thursday, November 19th. If you are committed to intellectual, cultural, social and ethnic diversity and are looking for a way to get involved, join them on the 19th.
Winter Sports Registration opened online on Saturday, and will close on Monday, Nov. 24th.

Congratulations to boys soccer team for winning their state game 2-0 against Guilford High School
And the girls' soccer team for winning 2-0 against East Lyme High School
Tonight there is a home football game. Our Eagles will face middletown high school at 7 pm tonight, the theme is black out!
A reminder that The turkey bowl game will be held on november 21st , at cottone, the $15 payment is due today, handed in with your name, and grade. Bring it to Mr. Scanlon or the athletic office. Spots are first-come come first-served serve so don't waste any time getting your shirt
