A year has passed since my dear friend, Uri, tragically passed away and his absence still lingers… Last year, due to COVID restrictions, I wasn’t able to perform my sad Naruto Medley live, but this year it was possible and I chose to arrange and play one of my favourite and saddest Naruto Shippuden OSTs - Mother and Father (also known as Decision).

If you watched Naruto, this is the theme song when Kushina and Minato sacrificed their lives to save their son, Naruto. I saw this as the perfect fit as Uri drowned while trying to save his son…

We had a memorial at work for Uri and I played this song live along with another one which I already covered (Bleach’s main theme). Out of respect for the family, we did not record the live performance so I chose to rerecord the song and upload it here instead.
