Rin believes her fate to lead an artificial life, singing prayers that no one can hear; she is so obsessed by this destiny that it is the only one she can imagine, and eventually all she can do is sing. Len believes his fate is to look for the voice he cannot see, ie. Rin. The two co-exist, each searching for each other - one seeking an audience, one seeking a love, yet both seeking paradise.

Although they believe that once they meet their despair will be changed into hope, the reality is just as fruitless as the destinies they once believed in. Rin shall continue to sing to one who cannot hear her voice, and Len shall never be with the one who sings the lonely prayer.
