TEHRAN / ‌‌Shariati street - Taleghani to Bahar Shiraz (خیابان شریعتی ) 2021

Dr. Ali Shariati Street (formerly Shemiran Old Road and Kourosh Kabir Street) is one of the most important and long streets in Tehran, which has a south-north direction. Before the revolution, this street was called Kourosh Kabir Street. After the revolution, the name of this street was changed in honor of Dr. Ali Shariati, an Iranian writer and researcher who gave many lectures at Hosseinieh Ershad on this street.

These alleys are the oldest road connecting Tehran to Shemiran and Qasran areas and its extension during the Qajar period connected Dar al-Khalafah to Shemiran region in the north of Tehran. The southern beginning of this street, which in the past (until the end of Qajar) was the gate of Shemiran, today is the Shemiran turn on Enghelab Street and extends to Quds Square. The street is home to a wide range of commercial and service activities, from local to urban.
