Over the weekend a severe ice storm was hitting the area, and despite that, I had to make a trip to Dubois. While approaching the grade crossing at Falls Creek, I noticed a train was entering Dubois Yard, and this would be B&P's southbound out of Salamanca, NY. ‪@Mrs.Plow_Bender‬ suggested we chase after it, which I honestly had no intentions of doing, until we noticed the train was idling in the yard. Unknown to us at the time, B&P had another train coming north out of Riker Yard in Punxsutawney, and therefore the southbound was waiting for the line to be cleared. We parked by the crossing at Dubois Street and waited for the southbound train to come through.

While waiting, I noticed the crossing going off, which didn't make sense to me, as the southbound train was nowhere in sight. It wasn't until I looked the opposite direction that I realized there was a train coming from the south. The train was lead by 2 B&P GP38-2 units, with a consist of empty cars going into Dubois Yard. I'm assuming some if not all of the gondola cars on this train were going over to Falls Creek to be loaded, as they appear to be clearing out something on the west side of the tracks. After the train passes through, the southbound leaves the yard about 20 minutes later, and I will have a video of that linked below once it becomes available.

I want to apologize for the subpar camera work. I did not have my tripod with me, as I was not expecting to catch any trains on this day. As I was recording, I was also trying to take pictures at the same time, which was way more trouble than it needed to be. The rain and wind did not help, as the water getting on my touch screens made it next to impossible to adjust my camera settings. Personally the whole day itself was less than adequate for railfanning, but I tried to make it work.
