प्रस्तुत वीडियो मै, आज हम जानेगे दवाओं के उपर बने हुए कुछ निशानों की जैसे Rx, NRx , या फिर XRx या दवाओं के पत्ते पर लाल धारी, आखिर ये मार्क्स दवाओं पर क्यों होते है और इनका मतलब क्या है I

OTC
ओटीसी दवाएं उन दवाओं को कहते हैं, जिन्हें खरीदने के लिए डॉक्टर की पर्ची की जरूरत नहीं होती है.
Rx
कुछ मेडिसिंस जब आप मेडिकल स्टोर से खरीदते हैं तो उनके ऊपर Rx लिखा हुआ होता है| तो Rx का मतलब यह होता है कि इस मेडिसिन को आप सिर्फ डॉक्टर की सलाह के अनुसार ही यूज करें I अगर आप बिना डॉक्टर की सलाह के ऐसी मेडिसिंस को यूज करते हैं जिनके ऊपर Rx लिखा हुआ होता है तो इससे आपको काफी नुकसान हो सकता है|
NRx
मेडिकल स्टोर से जब आप कुछ ऐसी मेडिसिंस खरीदते हैं जिनके ऊपर NRx लिखा हुआ होता है तो इसका मतलब यह होता है कि यह मेडिसिन नशीली है और इन्हें सिर्फ वही बेच सकता है जिसके पास इसका लाइसेंस है|
XRx
XRx एक एसी दवा है जिसे एक एक ऐसे डॉक्टर को बेच सकते है जिसके पास लाइसेंस हो| इस दवा को डॉक्टर सीधे मरीज को दे सकता है. मरीज इसे किसी मेडीकल स्टोर से नही खरीद सकता है भले ही उसके पास डॉक्टर के द्वारा लिखी पर्ची ही क्यों न हो.

The Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 are the rules which the government of India established through the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
These rules classify drugs under given schedules and present guidelines for the storage, sale, display and prescription of each schedule

Schedule H:
The drug label must display the texts "Rx" and "Schedule H drug. To be sold by retail on the prescription of a Registered Medical practitioner only" prominently. It can only be supplied to licensed parties. It cannot be sold without a prescription and only the amount specified in the prescription should be sold. The time and date of prescription must be noted. Examples: androgenic, anabolic, oestrogenic and progestational substances; Alprazolam (Xanax), Hepatitis B vaccine, Ibuprofen, Vasopressin etc.
NRx
If a Schedule H drug also comes under the purview of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, it must carry the texts "NRx" and "Schedule H drug. Warning: To be sold by retail on the prescription of a Registered Medical Practitioner only." on the label prominently.
Schedule H1:
Schedule H1 consists of drugs including antibiotics, habit forming drugs and a few anti TB drugs which were abused under Schedule H, and now have a regulation on its sales and additional warning to the patient. Medicines to be sold only on prescription of a RMP; pharmacist to maintain a register/record of all medicines sold. (specific reference to Diclofenac preparations in respect of their veterinary use) The package of the drugs will have a mandatory warning printed in a box with red colour border. The chemist should maintain the list of the customer names and details of the doctor who prescribed it. The list should be maintained with 3 years of data.
Schedule X:
All the regulations of Schedule H apply. The retailer must keep a copy of the prescription for two years. The drugs must be kept under lock and key. Examples: Secobarbital, Glutethimide etc. It requires special retail license for selling these medicines. 144(E) dated 17th February, 2017 Oseltamivir and Zanamivir are withdrawn from the list of Schedule X drugs and are now permitted for sale as similar to drugs under Schedule H1 of Drugs & Cosmetics Act and rules in 2017.
