I knew I wanted to build this before I even started it. It was plagued with issues and this is actually the second version of it. The first version was built across the water from my modern house build. Eventually the outpost wouldn't load due to a crash caused by excessive ram usage (27 gigs). I decided I really wanted this build to go on the channel so I started a new outpost and built it again.

A few of my friends spent 6 hours with me grinding for materials and it took me 2 weeks to complete the second time around. The day it was completed I turned on one of the camp fires to test if it would set the house on fire and...yes it did. the house nearly burned to the ground but thankfully we saved it!
