After a gap of 1 week, I am posting a fresh new video. This is a video from the Barddhaman-Asansol Quadruple Stretch.

As many of you know and also might have seen Eastern Railway is preparing this stretch to run trains as 160 kmph. Accordingly fencing work is being carried out and OHE cables are being rectified to feed more electricity to the locomotives and trainsets that will run at 160 kmph. At places land work are being carried out to strengthen the ground and track-bed so that there are no landslides and tracks don't sage due to the immense vibration caused by passing trains.

In this video you will see the tremendous speed of trains in the Barddhaman-Asansol Quadruple Stretch as they skips various stations at good speed.

Please be informed that WORK IS STILL IN PROGRESS AND THIS STRETCH HAS NOT BEEN DECLARED AS A SEMI-HIGH SPEED CORRIDOR. WORK IS STILL NOT YET COMPLETED.
