These are 100% polyester filled pillows that I washed in my front loader, and it says to not add bleach, but I did, a quarter cup. Also, I didn't follow any of the instructions for washing the pillows, but they came out just find, and smell like Downey fabric softener. It says to not add bleach, but I did add a quarter cup of bleach. I always use a clean slipcover over my pillows before I put my pillow slips on, and If you don't have a cover just use another pillow slip as your slipcover.
