In this video I will show you how I added Casting Deck Framing from angle aluminum to the jon boat to bass boat conversion or restoration. Starting with a sketch helps tremendously. The aftermarket boat hatches were powder coated black and look amazing. You can find them on the Tiny Boat Nation website if your interested. We are going to be running an aluminum deck. Counter sink rivets, aluminum hinges and 1.5" angle aluminum in 1/16" diameter are a majority of the materials used. We did also use some standard rivets. A minimalistic but strong front deck will be in this boat, with no chance of rotting from adding wood to a boat.
