කවියක් ගැන මෙහෙම කතා කරන්න පුළුවන්ද?
මෙලෙස විචාරයක් ලබන්න කවියක් ලියන්න පුළුවන්ද?
The Ballad of the Aliens
By
Weerathunga W Nimal
........................................
Verse 1
They came from skies beyond the stars, from worlds we do not see,
From distant alien territories, far from you and me.
They dwell on hills and jungle lakes where moonlit waters lie,
With scaled skin, fanged smiles, venomed breath, beneath a borrowed sky.
Chorus
Oh, the aliens walk among us now,
With golden eyes and borrowed crowns,
They steal our land, they drink our blood,
But truth will tear their kingdoms down.
Verse 2
In palace halls their eyes shine gold, their stolen riches glow,
They never mix with common folk, too poisonous to know.
They bind their blood to blood alone, their circles sealed and tight,
They live on lies and whispered deals and hide from honest light.
Chorus
Oh, the aliens walk among us now,
With velvet words and serpent sound,
They rule by fear, by tooth, by coin,
But dawn will hear the people’s sound.
Verse 3
The highest lands, the richest ground, are clenched within their hands,
Their claws appear by silver moon, not under morning’s glance.
They crush the weak, they silence truth, they hunger, hunt, and feed,
One bite upon the neck of hope fulfills their darkest need.
Chorus
Oh, the aliens walk among us now,
In laws, in robes, in holy ground,
They bend the gods, they blind the law,
But hearts still beat beneath the ground.
Bridge
The poor man knocks on marble doors that never open wide,
High priests and lords and dynasties protect their own inside.
Yet whispers grow like hidden fire beneath the nation’s skin,
When common hands take hold of power, the masks fall in.
Final Chorus
Oh, the aliens walk among us now,
But not forever, not for long,
When common people rise as one,
The earth will sing their song.
