By Train: New Jalpaiguri Junction (NJP) is nearly 125 km driving distance away from Rishikhola. Board a train to this busiest railway station and outside the station, you can rent a private vehicle which will help you reach the desired village.

By Air: The airport of Bagdogra is the nearest one to this village. The distance from the airport to Rishikhola is 110 km via NH 10. Through this route, it would take not more than 4 hours to reach the destination. You will be able to hire a rented car from outside the airport.

By Road: The village is nicely connected by road with many nearby cities. From Siliguri via Rhenak of Sikkim, you can quite easily reach this village within 5 hours. You can also reach the village from Kalimpong via Pedong.

April and May (summer) are considered to be the best time to spot the maximum number of migratory birds in Rishikhola. Summer is quite pleasant in this place.
