My favourite 50: The Leica Summicron 50mm F2 V3

Disclaimer: Leica have no idea I exist. I bought this lens from Yahoo! Auction in Japan some years ago. It was worth every yenny.

I've used the Summicron 50mm F2 V3 everywhere from the British Embassy in Tokyo to Nagano, Hokkaido, and British Columbia. I LOVE its bokeh, its sharpness, its focus fall off, its colour, and generally, it's contrast.

Sadly, it is poorly built and finished. But, due to its many other qualities - including near-perfect handling - I'm willing to overlook that.
